Permanent staff (social workers and educators) work at the AKI. They support the children's own experience, are the contact persons and the guarantors for continuity. They give attention, are initiators and organizers.
To give the children the joy of adventure and of the existence of a risk, in order, from a pedagogical point of view, to prepare them for the dangers of daily life and to let them learn to dare them, but also to dominate them by acting in a responsible way circumvent existing risks. Children who never realize that life has anything to do with movement, liveliness, dangers, and assessments of them are all the more insecure and vulnerable in the event of confrontation. At the AKI, they have the opportunity to discover, test and learn to risk life together with others.
Since we are in a modern era, it was now time for an AKI app. Please note that this app is now in version 1.0 and errors may occur. There are also future plans to make a few improvements & changes to the app!
